I have always had a passion for the creative side of life. As early as elementary school, I took sewing classes because I felt an urge to learn how to make something "physical". I continued taking various digital, 2D, and 3D art classes throughout my primary school years, culminating with a jewelry-making class in high school, where I learned how to work with different metals and the use of soldering tools to create wearable pieces.
I was in junior high school when I was first exposed to social media and became obsessed with keeping up with current trends. Later, as a student at one of the country’s top university PR programs, I discovered that social media and business interconnect in ways that have changed the world of marketing and public relations. I began taking more advanced design classes and knew my professional future would need to focus on my love of art through graphic design combined with communication.

During my college years, I pursued a minor in art, and it was during this time that my passion for graphic design ignited. The more I delved into the world of artistic expression, the deeper my appreciation grew for the intricate world of graphic design.
I am happily employed as a graphic designer at Kiewit Corporation, one of North America’s largest and most respected engineering and construction organizations. Simultaneously, I pursue freelance graphic design work as a fulfilling and enjoyable side venture. Balancing the structure of my corporate role with the creative freedom of freelance work allows me to continually expand my skills and find joy in both spheres of my professional journey.
